I am an aspiring indie game developer who hopes to one day join a large team and develop something great, or solo develop games that are on par with what I consider the indie greats, such as Undertale, Stardew Valley, and Hollow Knight.
Currently I'm messing around in Godot, creating prototypes and testing out various mechanics in super small, 5-10 minute games. I'll occasionally create games that mimic retro consoles as well, such as the gameboy and Atari 2600. These are done in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I place certain restrictions, such as memory or color palette on myself when starting. These are games I developed for a challenge I'm doing. The challenge is to develop increasingly complex games with each game I make. At first I was just limiting my pixel art and button count, but then decided I wanted to go one step furthe...
These are some projects I developed in Godot to test it out and see if I liked it. I ended up liking it and will probably use it to develop some larger games I have planned.
These are some super simple games I made in Unity and MonoGame while trying out making games with minimal inputs.
